EIT InfraBooster professional training (InfraBooster Foundation and InfraBooster Practitioner)
InfraBooster professional training focuses on the commercialisation of research infrastructures and is designed for both academic and non-academic staff of public universities and research institutes. InfraBooster Foundation serves as the first and mandatory step for the next level – advanced training: InfraBooster Practitioner. It ensures that participants adopt standard vocabulary and gain an understanding of the innovative contexts, in which research infrastructures could be leveraged for science-industry collaboration. It also helps participants understand the importance of research infrastructures and select the most commercially relevant research infrastructures for R&D efforts of private sector companies in target sectors.

Practitioner is a mini-MBA-style, advanced training designed to help researchers and support personnel (such as technology transfer, marketing specialists, and financial or research officers) better understand the competitive edge of research infrastructures, design innovative infrastructure-based services, identify potential industrial partners and start industrial outreach. It helps experts prepare marketing collateral that highlights differentiators and benefits important for their target clients, understand the needs of specific industries/companies, identify potential clients and initiate service sales processes.
